Whistleblower Protection 

Our company considers it important to inform you about the rules governing the reporting of unlawful or unethical conduct (so‑called whistleblowing) and the protection of whistleblowers. We are required to publish the information below pursuant to Act No. 171/2023 Coll., on the protection of whistleblowers, in conjunction with Act No. 253/2008 Coll., on certain measures against the legalization of proceeds from crime and the financing of terrorism. As such, our company is a so-called obligated entity in accordance with these regulations. 

What is whistleblowing

Whistleblowing allows you to report violations or imminent violations of legal regulations, as well as misconduct or unethical conduct on the part of: 

  • employees from our office or 
  • cooperating persons. 

Our priority is to ensure that everyone involved in the activities of our company and in providing services to clients complies with the law, moral principles, and the professional code of ethics. Any conduct which is engaged in contrary to these principles is deemed unacceptable. Reports may be submitted in accordance with the law by any person who is authorized to do so.  

What is considered unlawful or unethical conduct? 

Exemplary reasons for reporting include: 

  • criminal offenses (e.g., theft, fraud, etc.) or misdemeanours,
  • violations of our company's internal policies or procedures,
  • bullying, harassment, discrimination, or substance abuse,
  • violations of rules relating to privacy, personal data, or IT system security,
  • threats to human health or safety,
  • damage to the environment,
  • failure to comply with legal obligations, and 
  • attempts to either conceal or suppress information relating to the above.

How to submit a report

Reporting can be done through our office's internal reporting system in the following ways:

Reports may be submitted anonymously or under your own name. Please provide your contact details so that we can inform you about the progress of your report. Under no circumstances will the identity of the whistleblower be disclosed. All data is properly secured against misuse, archived, and stored in accordance with applicable personal data protection legislation (e.g., EU Regulation 2016/679 – GDPR).

The whistleblower may also submit a report directly to the relevant public authority. 

Prohibition of retaliatory measures

Finally, it should be emphasized that the prohibition of retaliatory measures against whistleblowers is fully respected and observed.
